Is the call really free?
Yes — completely. No credit card, no deposit, no catch. The Parent Clarity Call is our way of making it easy for families to get professional guidance without any financial pressure. You just book, we call you.
Do I need a referral from a GP?
No referral needed at all. You can book directly online right now. If you decide to pursue ongoing therapy in the future and want to claim Medicare rebates, a GP referral may be needed at that stage — but not for this call.
What age children do you see?
We see children from 18 months through to 18 years. If you're unsure whether we're the right fit for your child's age or needs, the free call is the perfect place to start — we'll point you in the right direction regardless.
Is this a formal assessment?
No — this is not a formal speech pathology assessment and doesn't constitute a diagnosis or written report. It's a professional conversation to help you understand your child's communication and decide on the best next step. A formal assessment can be arranged separately if that's what's recommended.
What happens after the call?
At the end of the call, your speechie will share their thoughts on the best next step for your child — whether that's monitoring development, booking a full assessment, or exploring one of our home programs such as Busy Books, Language Unlocked, or Fluency Foundations. Whatever they suggest, the decision is always yours.
How long is the wait?
Call appointments are typically available within 1–2 weeks. After you book online, our team will confirm your exact time by SMS. If you need something sooner, feel free to contact us directly and we'll do our best to accommodate you.
Do I need to bring my child to the call?
No — this is a parent call, not a session with your child. You don't need your child present. We'll chat through your concerns and answer your questions based on what you tell us. No clinic visit required.
What if I have more questions after the call?
Just reach out. You can email or call us directly and we'll do our best to help. If you feel like you need a more in-depth conversation or would like your child seen in clinic, we can discuss what that looks like and get something booked for you.
